The JANUARY Monthly Day of Adoration will be MONDAY, JANUARY 30TH, beginning after the 8:30 a.m. Mass continuing through 8:15 a.m., Tuesday morning.
Fr. Sera’s Series

Candlemas Day
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND, is Candlemas Day, which commemorates the presentation of the infant Jesus in the Temple considered the true light of the world. It has been the tradition to bless candles that day at Mass for families to use their homes thought the year. You are invited to bring your candles to the 8:30 a.m. Mass that day, to be blessed.
Feast of St. Blaise
On FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3RD, throats will be blessed after the 8:30 a.m. Mass. This is done on the Feast of St. Blaise, a fourth century bishop who saved a small boy who was choking on a fish bone. This blessing, which can take place during or after Mass, asks God's healing and protection.

Pancake Breakfast
St. Joachim will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH, in Nevin Hall, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Knights of Columbus will also be hosting their fabulous pancake breakfast after the morning Masses.
